Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center, Moshi, Tanzania begins  construction of new Cardiovascular Hospital

The Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center ( KCMC ) in Moshi, Tanzania, has embarked on a groundbreaking initiative to address the pressing need for advanced cardiac care in the region. On July 29, 2024, KCMC began construction of a new Cardiovascular Hospital. The launch of a new facility will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the quality of cardiac care available. Addressing the deficiency in cardiac care is paramount, and partnership with Global Heartcare Foundation and other international organizations will bring valuable resources and expertise to this project.

Global Heartcare Foundation is training a team of cardiac specialists to staff the new facility. This step is essential for ensuring the hospital’s long-term sustainability and effectiveness in providing high-quality cardiac care.
